Background Checks | June 24, 2022

What is a FedEx background check? Like many companies, FedEx screens job applicants using a background check.

Before applying for a job at FedEx, regardless of whether you have a criminal background, there are some things to know about the background check process conducted by this global delivery company.

FedEx will ask for an individual’s permission to conduct a background investigation during the interview session because consent is required for employment screening checks. A passport, driver’s license, or any other national ID card must be presented as proof of identity. But…the thorough investigation will not be conducted until the initial phase has been finished and the organization is ready to make a job offer to the candidate.1

Whether you have a felony conviction or not, there is one thing to do immediately before you apply to FedEx: Learn how to get a criminal background check on yourself.

Arming yourself with the information that FedEx will see when they conduct the background check required for employment, will provide an advantage. This allows applicants to remove criminal record from background check using the expungement process, and measure how long ago convictions (or driving record issued) occurred.

The easiest and fastest way to accomplish this is to use a 7 day free trial background check company. The membership can be canceled after running the one time background check, but applicants can still access the report.

There are also some DIY methods that can be employed for small fees. The following guide explains everything required to get hired by FedEx and what their background check will examine.

Does FedEx Hire Felons?

FedEx does employ convicts.5 FedEx is the world’s leading provider of same-day package shipping services. Federal Express Corporation was established in 1973. Frederick W. Smith started it as part of a Yale assignment in which he was researching methods to provide fast courier services.1, 2

FedEx, which is made up of various firms controlled by FedEx Corp., currently employs approximately 400,000 people worldwide. They have a lot of entry-level employment openings.

Package processors and truck operators account for the majority of these jobs. Those who have worked with FedEx may be eligible for a driving role combined with becoming a messenger or operating in customer support. Package handlers and truck loaders are two jobs that felons are likely to qualify for. These jobs are more common and have the highest revenue of all the company’s jobs.1

What Does The FedEx Criminal Background Check Look For?
